Prasad is a Chartered Accountant and is a senior partner at his Chartered accountancy firm in Chennai. He is also an Independent Director in the Board of Wheels India Limited (TVS group) a Joint Venture company with Titan Wheels Ltd U.K. for manufacture of wheels for passenger cars and commercial vehicles. After serving the industry for ten years as a Finance professional, he commenced independent practice in 1981 and handles audits of reputed corporate houses in Chennai.
